Hi. This fall sale made me wonder about sales in dawanda. Is it possible to make a sale in my shop. As a way to improve my sales ou even to "get rid" of unsold items?

You are absolutely free to offer any kind of sale or discount or promotion you like in your own shop.

Only, there is no automated way to do it— you'll have to change the prices by hand... Some people create a "sale" or "destash" category in their shops...

one week ago we had a one-week-sale with 15 % off. DaWanda made a lot of publicity in the newsletter and on the frontpage. After the sale stopped there was a sad silence in my shop...it's not really easy without DaWandas help to get buyers when you make your own little sale announcement...but good luck :)

I know I can make my own discount in my shop, but I would like dawanda to crate a "on sale" section here we could put some of our items at lower prices, because for me it is like Beaumig sais, is very difficult without dawanda's help to get buyers having my own sale announcement.
And plus it would be good for buyers to, they could check out the products on sale without having to go store by store.

If you have a maling list, or a newsletter, you could offer a special to your clients :)
also, some blogs specialise in forecasting specail offers.
It might be worth google-ing which ones and posting the promotions there too
