Hi everyone! I am also waiting for the first sale... I though dawanda is advantageous for sellers in Europe since they are based in Europe compared with other North American sites. But it seems it's always hard to be viewed by many people.
Hope all of us could break the first step.. Good luck to you!

Hello all! I am awaiting first sale too. Getting rather worried as I have been browsing various shops and have not actually found any as yet that have any sales at all!! some of them were members for nearly a year.

Are we wasting our time? My life is too full to be misdirecting my energies making, photographing, retouching and listing if there is no reward at the end!

Sorry if being negative, just another victim of credit crunch trying to keep family afloat.

PS Kissed - love your stuff x

Hi BeadBuffetGirl and everyone :)
I know it's hard to get viewed by a lot of peole, but I try to promote my DaWanda shop in my blog, twitter and facebook and since I'm doing it I have a lot more views.
I also advice you to take photos from different angles and close ups to show details.
I have a job and I know what's like trying to strech time to the limit. But with some effort to get things right, I've been featured in a few blogs and today I made my first international sale. So, don't give up. Make it with love, it will come back to you :)

Hello, from me too. I’m new at this and unfortunately I don’t have jewelry. What can I do? I like a few ideas from you, about pining each other and I knew I need to start meeting new people on a Facebook, but I don’t have enough time. For me it seems the hardest thing to writing a text and now it seems it was the easy part of all this, but it is nice experience, I admit that.

For now my plan is, to make a better photos, better text, and try to make new products, but it is hard to be positive, if nothing is happened.
Has anybody a plan how to promote something that is not jewelry?

Good luck to you. And make a lot of pins, it is hart to wait for them also, and they are important, because they wish you a good luck, at least I thing they are, and I hope it is possible to promote my pieces too. Just don’t know how.

I just put myself in a facebook and I need to discover how it works, and found new friends there. So I could say my name is Lidija Miklavcic. And I don't know why I can't be just a BLUDOR. ... first task for me.

Hi, I'm new too, and learned that you never just list on DaWanda and wait to be seen. I have been learning how to market my products and get to know great people who will support you!

Don't be discouraged if you've been waiting.

I have some notes from a very successful etsy seller:

Hi, I send today my first package. It is great feeling, I just hope, the second will come soon. Actually I could walk to the post office everyday, it is really fine filing.
But I learn a lot, I realized, that I need a new business card, better package, and a lot of rubber stamps (breakable, hand printed and hand sewing ...). And I still need to improve my photos; I just got a new idea how to try making new photos for my dolls. But don't have a clue how to make better lamps and graphic photos. Any suggestions?

So good luck to us, and Santa bring as a nice present satisfied customers, a lot of them.

well, I would say to do WAIT, tell people about you and your shop. The more people hear about it, the more chances you'll get at making a sale and of ourse, make the product attractive with nice photos

Hey everyone!
I recently opened my shop though I registered here last spring. As I was wandering around here I saw that the shops that are doing well on Dawanda have listings in English, German and French too. Too bad I can't speak German and only a little French :(
I have a shop on Etsy too, and had several sales there.
Just wanted to try Dawanda as well :)
Hope to get my first sale soon, I try to keep thinking positive and not whining about anything! I think this always works best :)

xx
