bertlene 18.08.2009 12:23I use paypal only to buy and sell, since for me it is the safest way to deal with sellers and customers. I agree with you :)
CrystalS 27.08.2009 09:55Hello!
I have a question for you. I have an account on PayPal, I have made payments online through PayPal, but I'm not sure how this works when you are a seller...is there somehing else to set up? Are there fees to be paid?
Thanks for your help.
Valmade 14.09.2009 06:32If you are a seller with a personal account I think they let you receive a certain amount of payments, but once you reach a certain amount, which I can't remember off the top of my head, you end up having to register for a business type account.
There are fees associated with any payment received so make sure to factor that into your prices.
It's only free to use if you are making payments.
Good luck,
Val
CrystalS 14.09.2009 15:52Finally a reply!
Thank you very much, Val. I will see how it goes if I manage to sell something here :-)
TheRetroMetro 17.09.2009 17:20The seller amounts in paypal are up to about $500 per month, if I'm not mistaken. My account is verified and I've never made that much per month via online sales - YET. Most of my sales are local venues for now anyway.
There are fees associated with using PayPal. It's a little more when someone uses VISA/MC.
Good luck.
aegeanblues 21.09.2009 10:18I use PayPal & have been very please w/their services both for my customers & myself!
GoldFishJewelry 28.09.2009 23:02I accept both PayPal and Bank transfer, but I prefer Paypal. It´s fast and clear payment in only a few minutes. Bank transfer takes 7-10 working days and somethimes more. My customers pays both ways and if they are happy I´m too.
wellcome to my shop :)

FireLilyJewelryGems 04.11.2009 20:01I accept paypal and bank transfer through a swiss EURO bank account. I'm happy with both ... hey, money's money! But the bank transfer takes MUCH LONGER than paypal. But could that be because international bank transfers are more inconvenient for Germans (lol, most of my customers are German)?
