Having just done a search for Gold earrings, I was expecting to find earrings made with Real gold = stamped with 14K, 18K, 22K or 24K (and even 9K or 10K)

I have seen there many gold fill and gold plated items, which should not be in the Gold plated category as they cannot be hallmarked with any of the above.
Vermeil is gold plated on silver, usually hallmarked sterling silver 925, so should not be in the gold category either.
It would be great if as vendors we could make sure our items are in the right category, that way, buyers will be able to find what they are looking for quickly without any confusion.

I do not use it and it will be less confusing for buyers when doing a search
