Forum > Categories & Product Characteristics > Please check your listings ...
elizabeth 02.10.2008 17:02Recently we launched a new category structure on DaWanda so that from now on it is easier for you to assign products, and for buyers to find them.
We tried our best to move all of the listings from the previous structure to the new one, but it was not possible to move everything to the correct category with so many listings and so many different kinds of phrasing used by sellers in product listings.
The eight main categories still remain (Fashion, Accessories, Bags
etc) and are subdivided further by two levels (for example
Accessories – Hair Accessories – Hairpins & Barrettes). The main
categories are labelled as Level 1 (L1), the subcategories as Level
2 (L2) and the final category as Level 3 (L3).
Each product must be assigned clearly from now on.You MUST doublecheck again if your products are in the correct category. If you do not find a suitable subcategory from the main category, take a look at the overview to see whether there is a suitable subcategory in a different place.
Donnalda 03.10.2008 05:29I was using supplies, by the metre , paper, cartons and boxes for my downloadable journal spots, but then the next level only has fabrics to choose from. I am kind of confused about this.
elizabeth 03.10.2008 11:29hi Donnalda, there are only 3 levels to choose from, so once you have chosen Supplies >>> By the metre >>> Paper, Cartons & Boxes, there should be no more boxes popping up with levels for you to choose from.
If you are still experiencing a problem, please send a screenshot to feedback@dawanda.com so that we can help you.

jeanniescreations 26.07.2009 13:46Hi
I just added a new pin cushion to my shop, i've chosen the right category but i can't choose product characteristics, the little red boxes won't open and i just get "click here to use one of your listings as template. My cushion is now under "drafts" and not under my active listings. Could you please explain why ?
Thanks.
