I just opened shop my here (art:painting and photography), and curious how fine art people are doing here, any sales?

From my personal experience things are a bit slow in the English site. You will have to promote a lot for people to find you. I guess your category is not as busy as jewellery(mine).

I don't mean by any way to drop your confidence, this is just my personal experience as I said before.

I sell only art and a few greeting cards but so far since i made this account i sold 3 ACEOs.
I am not sure what to advise you , but i update the shop on a regular basis even if only for getting more exposure.

Just started, but I'm hoping for better than Etsy!

I haven't promoted my Dawanda too much before (start to now, it's never too late! :)

But I can see the English site not doing too well, and I don't know enough of the other languages to deal in them without confusion.
