Advertise dawanda products through facebook ... when you are looking at on eof your products, there is a facebook link at the bottom right of the page - this then puts the link on your facebook feed. Great to let your friends know what you have made recently. This has been a successful way for me to advertise to my friends and aquaintances without being too much in their faces!

Maybe I know what your problem is ;o)

Dawanda is best known in Germany and other German speaking countries (and that is where most of the buyers come from). And lots of them use the search-function to find what they are interested in. That is why product description and key words are an essential tool for you as a seller.
And your german product descriptions are very bad and in a lot of cases they are simply WRONG. No wonder people don't find/buy your products.

For example: "Kissenabdeckung" is not even a German word. What you mean is "Kissenbezug", "Kissenüberzug" or "Polsterbezug".

So, maybe you should try to find a better dictionary ;)

I agree with Oberhauser. The search words do have to be correct if you are going to list in German. I got some friends of mine to buy some jewellery from my Dawanda store to get some ratings and then it took off. Sometimes I share on Facebook something which I have listed, but don't want my friends to feel they are being harassed!
