I mainly have sales through Etsy at the moment but have had a few from Dawanda, one to England and one to New York, USA.

I dont spend a lot of time in the forums so maybe that is why Dawanda is slow for me. ALthough I dont spend a lot of time on Etsy Forums either and that is busier. I dont really know what the secret is!

I sold so far 3 items to someone from Germany.
I dont list them on the german dawanda because of the fees. I dont promote my items here, only on my blog and website and i list them of course on art related websites.

I'm just starting to really put a focus on Dawanda....my first day venturing into the forums; and I'm liking what I'm seeing :D

I sold items to Germany, netherlands, Austria and France. I list some items in german to. But my German is not so good. understanding the german language is no problem, but writing in it is something else :)

Haven't done much promotion.

I sell mostly to Germany and Austria, with a few sales to England. The German people will also look up the english site and if they like what they see, they will buy. I don't think it is worth translating everything into 3 languages, as the option to search England, Germany and France are available. I don't blog or do much to promote my site, but i do list often and it is doing well.

I am new as well. On Etsy I'm new too (since August) but sold from day one. Here so far none. For promotion Ravelry is a great site to show your designs. Your own blog helps too. Google analytics helps to see where people find your shop, but is a bit technical. Do not know if I can use Google Analytics on Dawanda. I posted a free pattern which resulted in lot of visitors to my blog (300 a day), but did not generate more sales.
I sell a lot in US. Perpahs because I use US crochet terms.
