I think it's a good idea to have a bilingual blog - that way you are definitely bring more traffic into it. I am doing that with mine from the start and it was not that bad so far - around 20 visits per day, sometimes even 40 ( I am blogging since May this year ).

I would advise you to write as many tags/labels as you can.
