About me
About me
Jewellery has been my passion since I was little, so it was
inevitable that I would end up making it in the end! I've arrived at
this point in my life via various other occupations and training
totally unrelated to what I do now. Still, I'm doing what I like to do
and the rest of the things I still have time for as interests. These
include caring for my beautiful cat who has been with me through
thick and thin and several European countries, and has recently been joined by another feline friend, enjoying a bit of
photography around the Italian countryside and wonderful towns,
learning all I can about the environment and wildlife, and looking
after the various wasps that have taken up residence in my insect house!
As for my jewellery, well I prefer to work in silver, but do do the
odd piece in gold or with gold or bronze accents. I make all my own
findings, earwires, etc out of sterling silver (or gold if the piece is
gold). I love to work with rough diamonds, precious and semi-precious
stones, and am always pushing myself to try something new.
