About me

Hello, and welcome to Aspen Spa! I am so glad that you could stop in. I hope you found something *just right* to pamper your much-deserving self!

The Creator:
I'm a high school science teacher by day, and a creator by night! I love the outdoors, and draw my inspiration from nature. I've had many creative outlets over the years, including painting, drawing, sculpting, jewelry, cooking, dance, and currently, teaching. I love to take classes, learn new things, and to be as much of a student as I am a teacher.

The Product:
I've always had a preference to use as few chemicals and "what is that word?" ingredients on my body. However, at student/school teacher pay, it's hard to afford healthy body products. I began exploring the options of creating my own body products. I am so pleased with the results, that I wanted to share that with others. I began sharing samples with my family, colleagues and friends. Their responses were so positive...well, here I am! I never EVER test on animals (except willing humans!), and support cruelty-free suppliers. All products are produced in a smoke-free environment.

I use only the most natural, whole ingredients whenever possible. All ingredients are listed in my item descriptions. These are made-to-order products, prepared in small quantities, in order to bring you the freshest, most pure product possible.

If you have specific allergies to the ingredients, PLEASE do not purchase these items. If you have skin conditions or any questions, please contact me prior to purchasing. I want you and your body to be 100% satisfied. Don't hesitate to contact me, should you have a specific question about the products.

Custom and large orders are gratefully accepted.

The Shipping:
I ship daily, unless noted above, and packages are in the Post no later than 48 hours after payment clears. However, my job as a teacher forces me to package items in the evening for shipment the next afternoon. Rest assured that, depending on your domestic location from me, your items will arrive within 3-7 business days. I am happy to ship internationally.

Though I make the greatest efforts to securely package your items, I cannot guarantee that the Postal Service will love your items as much as I do! It is recommended that you purchase optional shipping insurance, at the going rates of the USPS, as of May 14, 2007:

***IMPORTANT***
If you wish to purchase shipping insurance, please let me know BEFORE you pay, so that I may adjust and send you a new invoice. IF YOU FAIL TO LET ME KNOW before completing the transaction, you will be assessed a 50 cent fee (to cover my PayPal charges for sending you another invoice). I assume no responsibility for items damaged or lost in the Post, if insurance was not purchase.

Insurance for International buyers: (from the US Postal Service website)

"At the sender's option, Priority Mail International (flat rate envelope not included) packages mailed to many destination countries can be insured against loss, damage, or rifling. Comparable insurance coverage is not available to senders who mail letter-post items to those same countries."

The Fine Print: Do to the nature of the products, I cannot accept returns on these items, unless I've misrepresented the product. That being said, I am a very flexible person, and I want you to be 100% satisfied. Should you have any issues with your purchases, please contact me and I will handle the matter individually.
