About me
Hello, my name is Katrin Freitag. I am a textile artist from the south of Germany with a degree in Design. My studios are on a farm in Bavaria an in an old woollen mill in Yorkshire, England.
I take inspiration from the traditional usage of fabrics and experiment with unusual treatment and combination of materials. I like developing new textile designs by working with all kinds of textiles, materials and scrap paper.
