About me
Every morning I wake up too late and
stay in bed too long,
my coffee turns already cold and
the bread is from the day before yesterday.
On my rattling bike the heavy wind
slashes cold and achy raindrops into my face,
I can’t see anything, evil passengers running into my way, shouting, and their angry dogs are barking at me.
But all that doesn’t matter to me when
I unlock the door to my studio,
look at the work I’ve done yesterday and
think of things I’ll do today.
So I stay there until the night falls,
all the stores are closed again and
for the next morning there is just
the stony bread in my kitchen left.
