Darren Turner was born in Birmingham England and now lives in Nürnberg, Germany. He studied at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. His career in cabinet making has included designing and producing furniture. Turner Pens has evolved from three of his favourite passions, art, wood and writing instruments.

Darren Turner wurde in Birmingham, England, geboren. Er studierte am Poole College of Art and Design. Seine berufliche Karriere führte ihn zur Schreinerei, wo er erfolgreich Kindermöbeln entworfen und hergestellt hat. Turner Pens entstand aus der Vereinigung seiner drei großen Leidenschaften: Kunst, Holz und Schreibgeräte.
