Hi,
I'm averilpam, I live in the north west of England.
I've been interested in arts and crafts all my life.
I am now making jewellery using polymer clay, and including semi precious stones and other beads.
You will find examples of my work on my website, http://www.averilpam.co.uk
I understand the problem and I don't want to offend you. When I opened my first online store I did a bit the same. But a few weeks later I didn’t understand that I didn’t sell anything. I started reading about pricing. One day I found an article about pricing and it said that to low prices will have the same effect as to high prices, you won’t sell because buyers will think there has to be a hick (low quality). The authors gave the advice to try out different pricing to find the right one. As I was already really cheap I raised my prices (and I started selling a few days later (after 2 month without any sold!!!). When I see your cute brooches for 3.50 I’m looking for a default. I would try out at least 9.90 Euros for your brooches and upload another photo of the back – buyers love to see how to fix brooches. Hope you don’t mind my advises and I wish you a lot of clients!
Thanks for your comment - I love your work, too. But I must admit I'm very astonished about your pricing - do you want to make better prcies than china mashine made things? You do great work - get paid for!!!!
