About me
I am a homeschooling mom of 3 wonderful kids aged 13, 6 and 3. I have a wonderful supportive husband who tolerates my knitting addiction with grace.
I was born in England and spent much of my childhood between Enland and the US. I have lived in Boston, London, Oxford, Miami and now Rhode Island. No I wasn't a military brat. Just a brat!
I moved to Rhode Island to attend RISD (Rhode Island School of Design)and stayed. Please don't ask me why, I have no idea. It just worked out that way. I live in rural corner of the state that borders Mass and Connecticut. So I do almost everything in those in Connecticut. LOL.
I love knitting. I have been doing it for over 30 years. (and I'm only 37) I find designing my own patterns a fun challenge. I love everything about yarn... and just wish I had the money to buy more of the really high-end hand-made stuff which is why I sell my patterns. My business basically pays for the yarn and not much else! LOL.
I am (apparently) aggressive, abrasive, cruel and crass. So... converse at your own risk.
Personally I don't think I'm any of these adjectives. I prefer, passionate, straight forward, sarcastic and witty. So... still...converse at your own risk, LOL!
As I explained to my BIL: when in doubt, please assume I am joking.
