About me

Two years ago my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent chemo and lost all her hair. She was very upset so I sent her a hat to wear when she went out in public. She said the hat made her very happy and she was going to call it her happy hat. Hence the name of my store. Then the thought occurred to me that if that hat made her feel happy perhaps other chemo patients would feel the same way so I began making hats. Lots and lots of hats. Soon my husband and one of our daughters joined me and we soon sent 50 Happy Hats to St. Jude Hospital for the chemo patients. This year we donated 70 hats. Everyone that seen them said we should sell them so here we are. Also I am happy to report my sister-in-law is now in remission.
