About me

Hi, my name is kana and I design and make K A N A R O
clothing.

I am born at the small fisherman's town in Japan.
I remember it took me 50 minutes bus ride to go to closest used record store back then....
SInce I reached the age I can freely travel I discovered so many different placed in or out side of Japan, moved in many places and currently I am in East Bay, California living with my hubby, two beautiful kids, one extremely obedient dog and newly adopted puppy.

I love making things with my hands and this is something I can not stop doing. My interest of media is all over the place, but for most of all I do love making clothing. I hope I can introduce different things, like photography.
My influence is usually old things, old movie, old building, old picture, old clock.. old people's clothes....

I am very glad to find a community like DaWanda to continue what I like to do, flow my passion and hopefully reach to people like you : ) Thank you for your interest in my shop!!

Hey Kana, I must say I was enchanted by your shop description and got the urge to escape from the hubub of the modern world and visit your place because it breaths of things people let fall into oblivion.
You have a nice shop. My favourite is the Milky Way jacket. It's fabulous! I wish you luck with your shop!
