About me
Melanie is a specialised fashion/textile designer and Felt Maker, her preferred mediums of natural fibres/fabrics, handmade felt, interesting hand knits, screen printing and intricate fabric treatments for both garments and interiors have given her, her easily recognisable signature style.
Melanie has showcased her collections at various high profile venues/events such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Alternative Fashion Week London and Contemporary craft and design exhibitions Origin organised by the Craft Council and The London Art & Design Fair.
She has been featured in various magazines like Italian Vogue Gioiello (from which her profile image comes from) and Trespass to name a few.
Melanie graduated from Central St Martins with a BA in Fashion/Print.
Upon graduating she started teaching Dali short course’s called Handmade Fabrics for Fashion at St Martins.
