About me
I have a long history working with textiles and fabrics. I started at a very young age and since then I have studied in the field, worked as a professional costume designer and manufacturer for many years and taught in Australia and overseas.
Through my experiences and travels I have developed a love for natural fibres and ethnic and traditional fabrics, which I use a lot in my work - although not exclusively. With their wonderful use of colour and pattern, I think they lend themselves beautifully to my children's collection, which makes up the main focus of my work. I also make quilts and bags, where these fabrics feature, and sometimes I even throw in a few of my own hand prints.
I am happy to discuss custom options, so please contact me with any queries. Most of the styles you can see can be made in different sizes and fabrics or tweeked to suit your needs. Because of the fabric, it is not always possible to reproduce a garment exactly, but something similar is usually a possibility.
