About me

I started making cards 14 years ago to help fund my way through Uni. It was one of a long list of things I did to help pay the bills - including working on a building site which actually, though back-breaking work, had its fun moments.

I can remember the exact point in which card-making became more than just a hobby and instead something I was passionate about - something which is a big part of my life. I made a sympathy card for a very close friend whose father had sadly passed away. It was hard making that card, but I poured so much into it to make it meaningful about his life. My friend cherished that card and it is something she has kept to this day as a keepsake. She said the card was such a celebration of her Dad's life that it gave her a lot of comfort to be reminded what a good life he'd lived. It inspired me to want to make beautiful cards that people will cherish - whatever the occasion.
