Hello, my name is Jamin and I am the co-owner of The Beer Soap Company along with Zaidat, my other half:) We also run http://zajanatural.dawanda.com.

After so many years of making soap with plain ole' H2O, we decided to switch it up a bit. All the soaps you will find here are made with 100% beer as the liquid portion. We also use a cold processed soap using our legendary recipe of Olive Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil and Unrefined Shea Butter.

I pick the beers, and Z does the scent blending and the soaping.

Now before you think we are lushes just slurping beers left and right, we are actually quite moderate with alcohol, so rest assure all the soaps are made correctly and they feel amazing! Z hardly ever drinks anything but water, and when she actually has anything with alcohol, she's a hoot! I do enjoy an occasional beer, but with moderation.

When we decided to carry the beer soaps after such a success with a few over the holidays, Z suggested we offer our own taste tests and opinions. We taste each beer before we use it for soap, and offer our own brief opinion of its flavor should in case you want to try it out for yourself.

Let's face it, sometimes showering can be a little boring! And sometimes people do not even like to shower (you know someone like this, trust me! We all do.) I bet if they were showering with their favorite beer it would be so much fun, they might not want to leave the tub!

These bars do not smell like beer, the blends we use are quite pleasing. The soaps that are left unscented do not smell like much, but do have a very soft hops or malt aroma.

We will be adding 5 new beer soaps to our line weekly. If you do not see your favorite beer listed, or if you would like to suggest a beer, please send us your suggestions via an email. If we can find the beer locally, we will put it on the list for possible batches!
