About me

Hi, My name is yvonne. I live in a lovely old city called Deventer in the east of The Netherlands.

I love all kinds of crafting but working with fabric is my favourite. I learned sewing from my mother, and later I took classes in sewing and designing clothes. This combined with my love for colour and unique fabrics inspires me to make cheerful, funny and colourful dresses.

Frühlingsduft

Blätter wirbeln durch die Lüfte,
Frühlingswind verbreitet Düfte.
Ein Hauch vom Schnee
Tut nicht mehr weh.

Gimpel, Meisen und Finken
Um die besten Sänger ringen.
Haselnuss lässt seine Pollen
An den Würstchen runter rollen.

Bienen und Hummeln stecken
Ihre Rüssel in die Märzenbecken.
Mit Gesumm und mit Gebraus
Treiben sie den Winter aus.

Frühlingssonne scheinet warm,
Auf den Kopf und auf den Arm.
Ärmlich sieht der Winter aus.
Aus ihrem Loch lugt eine Maus.

Der Weg, gestern noch schneebedeckt,
Heut´ von der Sonne abgeleckt.
Erste Blüte der Forsythie
Zaubert Licht in mein Gemüte.
