Coat one side of the wooden button with a base coat. To do this use a soft brush that isn't too broad and if possible, avoid painting the edges.
Leave to dry!
Mix the Colours
Now it's time to get mixing:
To create a beautiful pastel shade, simply mix your colour with plenty of white.
For this it is easiest if you use a small container with a lid or an empty candle jar. You need enough paint to dip the button in. Mix and stir for as long as it takes to get the tone you like!
Apply Some Colour
Dip one side of the button briefly into the paint.
Place it on a piece of paper and let it dry thoroughly.
If you want to add shine to your button, now is the time to coat it with a layer of varnish.
