Sew Easter napkin rings
For beautiful Easter table decor, napkin rings can’t be done without! Marysia from DaWanda has sewn napkin rings in the form of bunny ears to inspire everyone. Here we show you how easy it is to sew these beautiful eyecatchers.
Prepare the materialsPrepare the fabric you need. The amount of material depends on how many napkin rings you want to sew.
TemplateDraw a pattern by hand, or you can also download, print and cut out the template.
Transfer the templateCut out the template, and fold and pin it to the fabric in such a way that the right side is inside. Redraw the template.
Cutting OutCut the drawn shape, leaving about 0.5 cm of space at the seams. Then you can remove the template.
SewingSew near the contours, leaving a small ring-shaped opening at one end.
Turning onSo the tops of the ears look pointy, cut the extra space back into a point on both sides. Turn the napkin ring back outside-in, and iron it.
Close the openingClose the opening by hand or with a sewing machine. Now take the two ends by hand and make a double knot in the middle. To get beautiful pointed ears, I have used two pins.
