Frequently asked questions

Right of Withdrawal / Change of mind returns

If you wish to return an item you must contact me within 14 days of receipt of the order stating that you wish to return it. You must post the item within 14 days from the date of this notification.
Note:
- Custom orders cannot be returned.
- All items must be unworn, unused and undamaged.
- The buyers is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Items must be appropriately packed to avoid damage during transit.

After receiving the item I will process a refund for the item cost.

For purchases outside the European Union the original shipping costs will not be refunded. For purchases within the EU I will refund shipping costs at the cheapest shipping rate I offer, regardless of which shipping option you chose.

Damaged items

If your order arrives damaged or not as described, please contact me outlining the issue and provide a photo of the damaged item. I will either provide a full refund (including shipping) or post a replacement item.

Delivery times

The delivery times stated in my policies are estimates only. Occasionally orders may take longer to arrive than the estimated delivery time due to customs delays or postal delays (eg. due to industrial action, adverse weather events or seasonal delays including Christmas). Packages may also take longer if the delivery address is in a remote area. Packages are not considered to be lost in the mail until 2 weeks after the estimated delivery time has elapsed.

Order tracking

Tracking is NOT AVAILABLE for standard post services. If you require a tracking number for your order, please upgrade to either registered post or express post (or to Plus postage for orders within Finland).

Express post and registered post

If you upgrade to shipping by either express post or registered post you will receive a tracking number for your order. Packages sent by registered post will require a signature on delivery.

Please note that in some countries tracking may only be updated at the time the package arrives in your country and when it is delivered, with no tracking updates in between.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
The estimated delivery times for registered post items are the same as for standard post (as outline in my policies).

The estimated delivery times for express post items are as follows:
Finland: 1-2 business days
Europe: 2-5 business days
Rest of the world: 3-10 business days

Note that these estimated delivery times do not include customs delays.

VAT

Purchases within the EU are inclusive of VAT. All items will be posted from Finland.

Custom and personalised orders

Yes I accept custom orders. Most of my designs can be made larger or smaller and can be made into stud earrings, dangle earrings or a pendant. I can also create custom designs on request. Please contact me with your request.

Once the design and specifications for the order have been agreed I will create a listing for you to purchase. Custom orders must be paid in full before work commences. Custom orders cannot be returned unless damaged or not as described. Custom orders cannot be cancelled after work has commenced on the item.

Order cancellation

With the exception of custom orders I will happily cancel any order before it has been shipped. Please note that at times an order may be posted a few hours before I have been able to update the shipping status on Etsy.

Custom orders can be canceled before work has commenced on the item.

EU cancellation form

EU customers have a Right of Withdrawal within 14 days of receipt of the order. You may exercise this right just by sending me a message via Etsy. Alternatively, you may use the following form to request a return. Please return the completed form to jacinta@jacintaknightjewellery.com.
