Shipping

Orders are shipped from portuguese Post Office: in *Registered Mail (it's a priority mail with tracking number)
OR Blue mail (also a priority mail with tracking).
When free shipping is offered orders are sent via Regular mail.

*This means that you receive the package directly from the postman at your given address and a signature is requested (it doesn't have to be yours but from anyone that accepts the package).
Once the parcel has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail with the tracking number.
With Covid-19 situation some countries are not asking for the signature.

The buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at your customs. (The items you buy are shipped from Portugal - Europe).

Orders are dispatched after confirmation of payment (within 3 to 5 days) and the estimate date also dependes on stock availability (some out of stock products can take about 3 to 7 weeks being printed & made).
- I'll try to be as fast as possible and I'll shortly inform you if any delay occurs.

Shipping to European countries takes about 3 to 7 business days after the order is mailed by and to the Rest of the World about 7 to 18 (business) days.
- Please understand that some delays might happen (sometimes with the Customs in your country and in busy holiday season like Christmas mail takes longer) that are out of my reach, but if that is the case contact me and I'll try to assist you.

PinkNounou will not be responsible for delayed, unclaimed, or returned orders due to incorrect address or other causes that are beyond our control.

When free shipping is offered orders will be shipped from portuguese Post Office in Regular Mail.

Máx 2 Kg per package - if the number of items added in the cart is heavier than 2 Kg the shipping costs will have to be recalculated.

If you didn't received your order but it's marked as "Delivered":
Start by contacting me to let me know about the issue and check the shipping address provided when placing your order.
Please also follow these steps:
- check with the post office;
- check with family members, neighbors, or work colleagues (if shipped to your workplace);
If your package it's still missing and in order to qualify for a refund, you will need to FILE a MISSING MAIL REPORT with the shipping provider, as well as a POLICE REPORT.
Proof of BOTH reports must be provided to me to qualify for the refund.
I will also be filling a Missing Mail Report with the shipping provider.

HOW PINKNOUNOU GET STARTED?
I guess it all started because I'm a daydreamer. I graduated in graphic design but deep inside I knew that a conventional career, drawing other people dreams, was not my path. I needed something more creative and colorful since I couldn’t help to have my dreams always filled with small characters bursting to get alive.
I love illustration and children storybooks since I was a little kid. My house is completely filled with books: I have the precious ones from my childhood (thank's mom for keeping them!) but also many others I can’t help buying from vintage shops and antique fairs.

My collections are made with extra care and love in limited numbers and some are one-of-a-kind handmade creations that can be fully customized just for you.

Because my products are handmade, individually hand cut and sew, made in small batches and because also of the printing process involved some variations in color or size may occur.

I love animals – specially cats, but unfortunately I'm allergic to them... So all my products are made in a pet and smoke free environment.
I try to buy my supplies locally whenever that's possible and all things are made in my country – Portugal

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Upon placing an order via my shop, you will receive an order confirmation email.
It will then take about 3 to 5 business days* to dispatch the order (usually less). Once the order has been sent, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with the tracking number.
Estimated shipping times (not including the processing time to dispatch the order):
. Portugal - next day or 2 days **
. Europe - about 3 to 7 business days **
. Rest of the World - about 7 to 18 business days **

(These are estimated times for Registered Mail + Blue Mail which are priority mail. Regular mail takes longer)

* Due to Covid-19 situation dispatching times are also longer - around 7 to 12 business days.
** With Covid-19 situation shipping is taking much longer than the above mentioned.

WHAT IF I WANT TO SHIP TO AN ADDRESS OTHER THAN MINE?
If you’d like to send your order to an address other than your own it’s no problem, when you place your order, just let me know your delivery instructions. I'll be happy to include a gift card with a short message that you would like written in it.

HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF THE PRODUCTS I BOUGHT? CAN I WASH IT?
Regarding the pillows, softies, dolls, bibs and all the products from the printed range with my illustrations:
You can machine-wash it in a gentle cycle, low temperature and iron it in a low to medium temperature.

Regarding the soft toys & dolls: Gently clean by using a cloth slightly dampened with water or with very mild soap water. Don't rub vigorously on felt or wool.

Thick felt or products with lavender or flax seeds: you cannot wash it.

Although I try to offer high quality products & take great care making and finishing our products – ensuring that everything is well sew and secure + the hand closing seams are strong. Due to intensive use, pulling or washing, some wear might happen - so pay close attention to the items before handing them to small children.

Art Prints and Originals - should be hang out of direct sun light.

HOW ARE THE TEXTILE PRODUCTS WITH THE ILLUSTRATIONS MADE?
The collection with my illustrations is printed onto a 100% cotton fabric using water based inks (in Portugal).
When the printing is done, the fabric is all individually hand cut – things start to gain shape and live ;) then they are sew with great care & love in my studio so that they can be quickly sent to their new home – Your home!

HOW DO I RETURN A PRODUCT?

If you’re unhappy with your order, please contact me.
The items you wish to return must be sent to me within 14 days after you received your order. Items must be in perfect unused condition. You are responsible for the shipping charges of returned items back to me.
Please note that additional duties, customs fees or taxes will not be refunded.
To ensure a safe return, please wrap the item(s) carefully and sent them in a way that offers proof of posting. When I get the goods back in good condition, I’ll credit you. For customers outside European Union countries please obtain a customs information document (in your Post Office – CN22 and/or CN23) and clearly mark RETURNED GOODS on the document (without this the parcel can be refused).
